So, you want to truly see the difference in our pricing? Good! We want
you to compare us with the other guys! And if you do find another place offering the same services as us, at cheaper prices... Let us know!

Best Buy's Geek Squad
One thing is for certain... They have the name, but that's about it. If you
do a Google search on "Geek Squad," not only will you find the obvious, such as
Geek Squad's web site, but you will also find certain articles pertaining to Geek
Squad's business practices, as well as some alleged lawsuits. One result titled,
"Geek Squad: Geek Squad Insider Speaks Out - Consumerist,"
is a link to one of my favorite web sites, Consumerist, regarding Geek Squad as
being awesome way back when, but now being owned by Best Buy, leads to a difference
in opinion.
And speaking of opinion. If you do a search on Google for, "geek squad opinion", you will find even more stuff related
to different people's opinion in regards to Geek Squad and Best Buy. Even
former employees that seem to have a less than favorable opinion about Geek Squad.
One even titled, "Geek Squad--Incompetent" jumped out at me.
But the main point here is Geek Squad's pricing, which seems to come up in opinions
across the board. Geek Squad's prices are high. VERY high! And in my
opinion, it seems to be taking advantage of the new PC user, or the "not-so-experienced-user-that-doesn't-know-any-better."

Even though you may not find the stuff that you would necessarily find on Geek Squad,
on Google, the pricing is almost exactly the same... Too high.
